Provision for those who feed the flock
Shepherds Only Foundation

Prayer

Holding up the hands of those who lead.

The Foundation gathers ministers to pray, online and, in some cases, in person. Our support was never meant to stop at money. It is meant to reach the spirit too.

While Israel fought at Rephidim, the battle turned on whether Moses could keep his hands raised. When he grew tired, Aaron and Hur sat him on a stone and held his arms up, one on each side, until the sun went down.

Leaders still get tired. A shepherd can spend years praying for others and seldom hear anyone pray for them by name. Our prayer meetings are a place where that is reversed: where ministers are prayed for, and where they pray with others who understand the weight they carry.

How we pray together

Gatherings that lift the spirit.

Online meetings

Regular prayer meetings online, so that a minister in a remote station can pray alongside a minister in the city.

In-person gatherings

In some cases, we meet face to face, for times of prayer that are hard to replace through a screen.

Prayed for in confidence

Requests sent to us are prayed over by a small team and are never shared beyond it without your permission.

Members are invited to prayer meetings directly. Details are shared with members, not published.

Send a request

You do not have to carry it alone.

Tell us what you would like us to pray about, for yourself, your family or your ministry. You may sign your name or remain anonymous. If you leave an email address, we may write to let you know we are praying.

Pray one for another. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

James 5:16

Prayer request

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
