Provision for those who feed the flock
Shepherds Only Foundation
Green Pastures · How we care

Standing with those who shepherd others.

Shepherds Only Foundation exists so that those who spend themselves feeding the flock — the minister, the spouse beside the calling, and the children raised within it — are seen, steadied and provided for.

“And my God will meet all your needs.” · Philippians 4:19

Care for the whole household of a calling.

A calling is never carried alone. The one who serves, the one beside them, and the children who grow up within it each carry it differently — and each is cared for here, in their own right.

The minister

The one who carries the weight.

Ministry brings responsibilities, and with them, burdens rarely spoken aloud. Here, the person behind the calling is met with care that is personal, confidential and unhurried.

  • Confidential counsel One-to-one care from those who understand ministry from the inside — walked with, not processed.
  • Provision through hard seasons Practical support for welfare, health and the pressures that continue through every season of service.
  • Restorative rest Space to be steadied and renewed, so the calling is carried with gladness rather than exhaustion.

The spouse beside the calling
You did not sign up to be strong alone.

A minister’s spouse holds a role few others understand — often carrying the household, the ministry and their own heart at once. This care exists for you, in your own right: a safe and confidential place to be heard, support for the home you hold together, and the reminder that your burdens are seen and shared.

“I will not leave you nor forsake you.” · Joshua 1:5 Request Counselling for a Spouse
The children raised in ministry

More than “the minister’s kid.”

Every child of a minister has a purpose all their own. We come alongside them as people who are seen, loved, important and heard — through every stage of growing up in a home given to the calling.

A place to be real Space to bring honest questions and real struggles, and to know they are not alone in them.
Understanding support Care that grasps what it is to grow up in ministry, offered gently and without pressure.
Help for their needs Support for wellbeing and the educational and everyday needs of a minister’s children.
“Your children will be taught by the Lord.” · Isaiah 54:13 Request Counselling for a Child
“They feast on the abundance of your house.” · Psalm 36:8

A little guidance for the next step

How care reaches you.

01

Reach out

Send one enquiry — for counselling or financial support. Name the person, the need weighing most, and how we can understand your situation.

02

We listen

Someone who understands ministry responds — privately and without judgement — to hear your circumstances and what would help.

03

We walk with you

Care is arranged for you and your household, and we stay alongside through the season rather than at a single moment.

Held in confidence
Confidential

What you share is held with discretion and care. Your dignity is never the cost of asking for help.

Without cost to you

Provision is drawn from a perpetual endowment, so that no shepherd would go without.

For the whole family

Minister, spouse and children — the calling and the people beside it are cared for together.

“Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” · 1 Peter 5:7

Whatever you are carrying, begin here.

One enquiry is all it takes to be heard. Tell us who the care is for and what weighs most, and we will walk with you from there.
